Privacy Policy

1. Overview

SnapLog (hereinafter referred to as "the App") values the protection of users' personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects and how it is used.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Photo Data

  • What we collect: Photos that users directly select and provide to the App
  • Purpose: Analyzing text and information in photos, providing search functionality
  • Storage location: Analysis results are stored locally on the user's device

2.2 Voice Data

  • What we collect: Recorded voice when inputting voice questions
  • Purpose: Converting voice to text for question input
  • Processing: Uses Apple Speech Recognition. Voice data is processed according to Apple's Privacy Policy, and the App does not separately store voice data

2.3 Usage Statistics (Anonymous)

  • What we collect: App usage events (e.g., onboarding completion, number of photo analyses, number of questions)
  • Purpose: Service quality improvement and usage pattern analysis
  • Processing: Collected as anonymized data through Firebase Analytics

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following external services for the purposes described, and their respective privacy policies apply:

4. Data Retention and Deletion

4.1 Local Data

  • Photo analysis results are stored on the user's device and are automatically deleted when the App is uninstalled.
  • You can delete all data at any time through the "Reset Data" feature in the Settings menu.

4.2 Server Data

  • The App does not store personal data on its own servers.
  • Images transmitted through the Gemini API are deleted immediately after analysis and are processed according to Google's data processing policies.

5. Children's Privacy

The App does not intentionally collect personal information from children under the age of 14. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child, we will immediately delete that information.

6. User Rights

Users have the following rights:

  • Data Access: You can view stored data in the "Settings" menu within the App
  • Data Deletion: You can delete all stored data through Settings > Reset Data
  • Permission Revocation: You can change permissions for photos, microphone, speech recognition, etc. at any time in iOS Settings

7. Changes to Privacy Policy

If this policy is changed, the changes will be notified through app updates. Important changes will be communicated through in-app notifications.
